Abstract:

A method is proposed for making lower spacial representations of system structures by using numeric Multi-Dimensional Analysis (MDS). Preceding MDS, the best tuning-up method for MDS is data pre-handling, which estimates the system relation structure by means of the zooming process. This data pre-handling is then applied by ISM (Interpretive Structural Modeling) that interpretes the status of (block of) strong relation as grouping information and relation information. Both of these kinds of information will then be represented by lower dimensional space by using Multi Dimensional Scaling. Data concerning university entrance procedures taken from the various prefectures is analyzed. Until now, many analyses of specific prefectures had been reported. This report is a global analysis of the regional structural analyses made in Japan. By means of the above-mentioned prehandling analysis, the relationships between the data from many regions concerning the university entrance procedure can be mapped [In Japanese.]
