Abstract:

This paper attempts to develop, validate the measures for LSCP and also test the influence on the organisational performance. The data was collected through questionnaire survey from 154 transport service providers from Mumbai and nearby costal region in India. In the first phase, confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the validity of the proposed measurement scale for all the identified constructs. Second phase tests the relationship between the identified constructs and organisation performance using SEM. In doing so, we map a positive relationship between logistic supply chain performance (LSCP) and organisational performance (OP) which ultimately leads to enhance the performance improvement within firms and across the supply chain.
