The aim of this empirical inquiry is to decode the levels to which clinical governance initiative elevates emotional intelligence, ethics of care, and knowledge transfer. A longitudinal case research was conducted over 8 months since May 2011. Hospital document collection, field observations, and in‐depth interviews contributed to data collection. Through content analysis, research data was coded into patterns of relationships between constructs. The results revealed that a clinical governance initiative, when effectively implemented, can act as a lever for transformations in emotional intelligence, ethics of care, and knowledge transfer. This research paints a landscaping of clinical governance effectiveness and its organizational outcomes such as emotional intelligence, ethics of care, and knowledge transfer in an obstetrics hospital.
