Abstract:

This conceptual article deals with knowledge sharing in different project work environments. First, the project work context is illustrated. Second, the knowledge categorisation utilised in this article is described. Third, our analytical tool, the ‘holistic concept of man’, is introduced. Fourth, knowledge sharing in two different project work environments (i.e., organic and mechanical) is analysed by this tool. The article ends with a conclusion according to which the project team members' different world views and different situationalities crucially affect the knowledge sharing taking place in a project work context.
