Abstract:

In recent years, LAN has made an important effort in order to improve the practices of revenue management and pricing. Pricing, groups and forecast models are some of the issues used. The paper shows how success is being achieved using an aggressive strategy that aligns revenue management organisation along the same objective, using revenue management tools, process and people and complementing these with a new way of analysing the information and taking decisions about the next step in its development.
