In this paper, the author sets forth the benefits of adapting an advanced Cargo Revenue Management system that is customer-centric. Such benefits include lowering customer costs, providing shipping alternatives, and tracking network performance. Implementation of a customer-centric system will encourage widespread adoption of RM business practices in the Cargo industry.
