PRAO: Computer aided network planning

PRAO is an efficient software which has been developed by Electricité de France. It is a computer tool which can help electricity distribution networks planning. Its main qualities are: autonomy, efficiency, user friendly interface thanks to a CAD type dialogue, and portability on widely used computers. It includes a powerful optimization algorithm, named CORALI, for search of network operating configurations, taking into account various criteria and constraints.
