Project managers cannot afford to waste time and money, thus resources must be allocated as efficiently as possible. Even more critical, sometimes it becomes necessary to reallocate existing resources, or spend additional resources, to insure project completion occurs in less time than originally planned. This paper explains how the Systematic Network Analysis of Production Paths (SNAPP) offers an alternative to PERT/CPM and Gantt charts, making resource reallocation more efficient than when using these existing, mature techniques independently or in combination.
