In a recent paper Wei, Liu and Tsai (IAOR No. 82327) present an ‘advanced TOC method for project scheduling under resource constaints’. In this note we demonstrate that the authors (a) largely ignore the state of the art in resource-constrained project scheduling, (b) do not offer a correct application of the critical chain scheduling concepts, and (c) describe an alternative scheduling approach that is not based on sound arguments.
