Abstract:

Written in response to an article by Richard Weiss carried in the same issue [above], this article makes a case for the relevance of postmodernism to organization science. Provides an elementary description of what postmodernism means in general. Analyses the usefulness and delineates the limitations of the postmodernist literature in organization science in particular. Of relevance for soft systems thinkers wishing to know more about postmodernism. An editorial piece commenting upon both articles also appears in the same issue. [Below.]
