This article reports the results of a survey into the use of quantitative techniques by business in Denmark, Scotland and the U.K. The survey examines the awareness of various techniques in the three countries and the comparative levels of use of these techniques. The effect of industrial structure and size of firm on awareness and use is also investigated.
