Scheduling jobs in a job-shop environment is usually investigated within the context of optimizing a single criterion. However, businesses exist in multi-criteria environments. Such factors as cost minimization, customer satisfaction, and machine capabilities must all be managed concurrently if the organization is to achieve its potential. This paper addresses two static scheduling problems, both with two simultaneous criteria.
