This paper discusses optimal software release problems of determining the time to terminate the testing and release the software system to the user based on three methods for software reliability assessment during operation. The methods are based on software reliability growth models which are described by nonhomogeneous Poisson processes. The authors introduce two evaluation criteria for the problems: software reliability function and total expected software cost. [In Japanese.]
