Abstract:

  • We propose a new fuzzy programming model for rescheduling trains in railway networks based on the fuzzy variable representation of incident duration.
  • Space–time network is introduced to denote the route selection space for each train, by which rescheduling process is transformed into a coordinated routing problem.
  • GAMS optimization software is used to solve the problem.
  • The effectiveness of proposed approaches is verified by numerical experiments.
