Abstract:

A method is proposed for solving the multiproduct problem of optimal partitioning of a set in En into subsets, simultaneously determining the coordinates of the centres of gravity of the subsets. Underlying the method is a reduction of the initial problem to the problem of determining the saddle point of a Lagrange functional.
