This paper presents and formalizes the problem of assigning and scheduling a set of tasks to a set of workers when the worker’s performance on a task depends on the experience of the worker of this task and of the other tasks involved. We assume that the main objective is to assign the tasks by minimizing the completion time of the set of tasks. Different model formulations that combine alternative options are proposed to solve the problem. The formulations are tested on a set of instances.
