Abstract:

The performance indices are designed according to the resulting effects and determine whether the performance model is appropriate or not, and/or whether the performance of system is good or not. In this paper, a process, based on data envelopment analysis (DEA), is developed to evaluate the relative importance and prioritize the key performance indices (KPIs). By excluding the evaluated KPI in DEA models, the measure of relative importance for the index is obtained. Then, the KPIs are prioritized according to the rank of relative importance. The proposed process is able to assist an enterprise/industry to identify the influence of each KPI, and to improve performance based on the rank of KPIs.
