Data for dancers

Various factors may limit effective contact with information resources by potential users. These could include knowledge about information resources, what use they may be and how to approach and use them. This article looks at the situations of potential users of dance information with particular reference to such factors. The research upon which it is based was carried out to investigate how computerized information about dance could be effectively provided. For the purpose of this study, the main consideration is the situation within ‘education’ in the U.K., particularly at secondary-school level and in higher education.
