In this study, new factors affecting Knowledge Management performance in mass customisation were extracted from strategic, organisational and technological context, and the effects were examined through case studies. The firms implementing mass customisation are good cases reflecting recent changes in business environment such as increasing variability of customer need, the need for integrated operations in value chains, and thereby increasing need for knowledge management. Research was conducted through on-site interviews with company directors or managers in charge of knowledge management.
