An implemented software system is tested to detect and correct software errors during testing phase in the software development. The reliability of the software system is closely related to the quality and quantity of test cases executed software system spreads as the detection and correction of software errors is continued. In this paper, the authors discuss a software reliability growth model which represents the software error detection phenomenon with the spreading testing-domain. Numerical illustrations of software reliability analysis for actual error data based on the model and comparison among existing models in terms of goodness-of-fit are presented. [In Japanese.]
