In a previous paper, we presented a ranking procedure for use in evaluating the examination result of students which considers both the students' scores and the difficulty of individual problems. The previous method allowed the determination of a new ranking of students, even when students had received the same scores on the examination. In the present paper, the previous ranking procedure is expanded to allow ranking of two separate groups through a common competition or trial.
