The concepts of interval number complementary judgement matrix, mean complementary judgement matrix and deviation matrix are defined, and a priority method based on possibility and error analysis for interval number complementary judgement matrix is proposed. The method first utilizes interval number complementary judgement matrix to construct mean complementary judgement matrix and deviation matrix and, based on the priority formula of complementary judgement matrix and the formulas of error transmission and possibility, to get the priority vector of interval number complementary judgement matrix, and then select the most desirable alternative(s).
