Changes in perceived job satisfaction, adaptability, productivity, and attendance behaviours were compared for participants and nonparticipants in a Saudi Arabian quality control circle program. Involvement in quality control circles had a significant impact on the job satisfaction of participants and persons affected by the program; group participation in quality control circle programs appears to increase group efficiency and productivity and to lower absenteeism.
