This paper analyses reintegration of partially disabled employees into the labour process as a complex societal problem that plays a role at various levels: the macro level, the meso level and the micro level. Nevertheless, these problems can only be confronted in their mutual context, which makes the decision-making processes on reintegration complex. In this paper we discuss the selection process of partially disabled employees as a complex decision-making process. We have chosen to use the theory of Weick to provide insight into these processes within the organisation.
