This paper suggests an approach to reformulate the outranking procedure of ELECTRE I, which is one of the most popular outranking methods in multiple criteria analysis, as a mathematical programming problem so that commercially available codes can be effectively used to identify the most favorable alternative or alternatives under varying conditions or preferences. The computerized procedure developed for this purpose is also briefly described.
