It often happens in decision-aid that the values of data used in models and of parameters used in methods are ill-determined: several scenarios are possible for the data and several values are plausible for the parameters of the methods. The role of the scientist in such situations is to provide information about the validity of the proposed solutions for different sets of acceptable values for the model and the method. This paper introduces a theoretical framework allowing us to deal with such questions.
