We consider the problem of determining the expected waiting time of arrivals at a particular queueing station in a multi-system configuration with a single server operating under a time-limited polling discipline. At each station we, assume Poisson arrivals and a general service distribution, which does not have to be the same at each station. A simple and accurate interpolation approximation is developed for this mean and compared with known and simulation results.
