Pérez-Brito et al. provide a counterexample to a finite dominating set (FDS) for the p-centdian problem proposed by Hooker et al. They also describe a correct FDS for the 2-centdian problem. We point out that when theorems proved by the latter authors are correctly applied, this FDS can be shown to work for the general p-centdian as well as the 2-centdian problem.
