The privatization of KARMET and resultant formation of ISPAT KARMET (IK) has its impact on the community of Temirtay, the city where IK is situated. It has raised certain societal concerns. Operational Research methodology has been suggested for a proper impact analysis and to arrive at the desirable transition process.
