The research presents an empirical test of a conceptual framework regarding the relationships between a firm's logistics strategy, the organizational design dimensions used to implement the strategy, and the performance outcome experienced as a result of managers for manufacturing firms confirms a relationship between organizational design and performance. Additionally, the intermediary effects of integration on this relationship are confirmed. The hypothesized relationship between strategic choice and organizational design was not confirmed.
