Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to determine the optimum design of a cattle system in the Tenth Region of Chile. The problem is analysed within a multiple objective context. The Non-Inferior Set Estimation Method (NISE) was used to generate the efficient set. A compromise set, between the different efficient systems, which was nearest to the ideal point defined by the objectives considered, was determined through Compromise Programming.
