Multi-trajectory inertial system is a new global optimization method where more than three searching trajectories by the inertial system run from their initial points simultaneously with mutual interactions among the trajectories. By the proposed model, the authors obtain chaotic trajectories that result in an effectiveness for global optimization. The trajectories are shown to be chaotic by use of the Lyapunov spectrum. The usefulness of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulation studies for various problems. [In Japanese.]
