One of the important issues in quality control is finding the target value for a process under various inspection policies. Researchers have considered various aspects of this problem with 100% inspection and with quality sampling plans. This paper considers the problem of targeting the set point when rectifying inspection is used. The authors develop a model for this problem and propose a scheme for solving it. They also provide a numerical example.
