Abstract:

In building knowledge processing system, the modeling method of the system and the knowledge representation language which can represent various knowledge naturally are important. In this paper, a new modeling method called 2-level modeling and a knowledge processing language called S-LONLI which is based on the 2-level modeling method are proposed. In the 2-level modeling method, the knowledge processing system is modeled in 2 stages; the first stage is the macro-level modeling, and the second is the micro-level modeling. In S-LONLI, macro-level modeling is performed by an object-oriented methodology by using the message passing and object hierarchy structure, and micro-level modeling is performed by a logic programming methodology. Some sample programs are described in S-LONLI, and it has been confirmed that the 2-level modeling method is useful for knowledge processing system modeling and S-LONLI is suitable for describing the system easily. An extended facility for event-driven programming is also proposed. [In Japanese.]
