The information-decision model for road maintenance management in an urban agglomeration

The paper presents a set of procedures for maintenance and development of the road system in a city. It is assumed that the set as a whole is an ‘information-decision’ model. The major problem addressed is how to identify properly actual conditions of the road system. A description of the road system conditions is used to formulate the assumptions for particular procedures. Consequently, it was possible to propose several procedures for both running and investment functions of management.
