Pan Am schedules flexible shifts of full-time and part-time personnel at airports (stations) in the United States, Latin and South America, and Europe. A station staffing model implemented for the operations planning and control department reduces the staff needed to serve customers and allows the company to examine staffing alternatives thoroughly.
