Abstract:

Given a family of probability distributions defined by linear internal constraints and another family defined by loglinear external constraints, the duality between the two families is analysed by applying geometric programming. This allows the generalization of Csiszár’s results. The problem may be considered as the generalization of the method of calibration of input-output tables.
