Vehicle electrification has been seriously considered as an industry revolution to achieve sustainable transportation in China. Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), plug‐in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) and pure electric vehicles (EV) are being demonstrated in scores of large cities.
