Abstract:

We develop an interval‐valued minimax regret analysis method for planning energy systems. Uncertainties existing in system components are reflected. Capacity expansion plans for power generation facilities can be obtained. Results can identify an optimal strategy for greenhouse‐gas‐abatement under uncertainty.
