Abstract:

In recent years, both researchers and practitioners have devoted attention to environmental sustainability issues in the green supply industry, but, how to design the green logistic network in the eco‐industrial system is missing. This article reports on the study of designing green logistic network in an eco‐industrial system by modifying the Barabási and Albert (BA) model based on the intrinsic properties of eco‐industrial systems. After verifying that the modified BA model is more accurately to interpret the formation mechanism of an eco‐industrial network by the mean‐field approach, paper extended and generalized some basic rules of the In‐degree and Out‐degree distributions of an EIN under the influences of different factors to assist eco‐manufactures choose their supplier or customer, even design their own supplying networks by application of complex networks theory with the aid of the Jinjie EIS case example.
