Abstract:

  • This paper evaluates the reliability of phased‐mission systems considering both combinatorial phase requirements and repairable components.
  • A large number of redundant states can be excluded from our model.
  • The size of our model does not grow exponentially as the number of components increases.
  • The BDD–Markov combined method is a special case of our approach for the conventional phase‐OR phased‐mission systems.
