Knowledge management (KM) tools are widely being used by the organisations to sustain the improvement in their products. The selection of these tools is a matter of concern for the managements of companies. This study reports an approach for selecting knowledge management tool within an organisation by the process of integrating analytical hierarchical process (AHP) and quality function deployment (QFD). The approach has been illustrated with an example of a company, trying to make a selection from the group of three KM software products to sustain and cope with level of competition in the current scenario. In this approach, multiple requirements are identified, evaluated and then prioritised to suggest selection from three software products. Various requirements are framed in different sets and then prioritised in order to reach the best suited product qualities. Evaluation process finally makes the study to reach the goal and one best product is selected.
