Abstract:

It is seen that conflicting objectives and lack of coordination between supply chain members may often cause uncertainties in supply and demand. Coordination may help in managing inter dependencies and reducing uncertainties. This paper develops a decision tree‐based fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to support decision‐making for priority evaluation of attributes responsible for supply chain coordination. To deal with the uncertain judgement of decision‐makers, a decision tree‐based fuzzy modification of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method is applied to derive consistent or inconsistent fuzzy judgement matrix. It demonstrates that proposed prioritisation method can be utilised to identify critical factors that improve coordination and streamline the supply chain.
