Abstract:

The paper considers the effects of congestion and gear saturation in the harvesting of fishery model given by logistic type of differential equation. It applies continuous dynamic control programming technique (Bellman, 1957; Bertsekas, 1987) to maximize the net revenue obtained by nonlinear production function of Cobb‐Douglas type.
