Abstract:

Organisations are continually changing their strategies, structures, policies, operations and processes to remain competitive, successful and facing challenges. Successful and effective change requires employee positive attitudes and behaviours. This study focuses on employee commitment and situational factors to know the employee attitudes and behaviours. Analysed 518 surveys returned from employees working in public sector institutions. The findings indicate significantly positive relationships between employee commitment and financial predictors towards change readiness. Results indicate higher predictive power of these factors to be open and ready towards employee for change. The researchers conclude with a set of limitations and implications of the findings.
