Hierarchical decomposition of entities from binary comparisons aided by an interactive system

There is a growing tendency in the real world to take account of socio-economical, technical, political aspects and often conflictual objectives when making decisions. The manager can thus be confronted with complex problems and would try to structure them through the development of a hiararchy among all these elements. The focus of this paper is to help the manager establish such a structure among the conflicting objectives. Results emanating from combinatory analysis are presented together with iterative and interactive convivial algorithms and visual support.
