Abstract:

A case study in Australia compared the profitability of farming and farm forestry. Livestock grazing was compared with a blue gum plantation during 1993–2007. The financial return from blue gum (14years) was greater than livestock grazing. The farmer had successfully integrated farm forestry as a viable land‐use.
