Two ordering policies are considered for a complex system which is subjected to minimal repairs based on repair cost limit criterion. Introducing costs due to repairs, inspections, replacement, shortage and holding, the optimum ordering policies which minimise the expected cost rate in the long run are discussed. A numerical example is also presented.
