We analyze modern state, problems and prospects in multi-level automatic production control. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and automatic control systems for industrial processes (ACSIP) are considered in detail. Much attention is focused on the issues of improving the ‘intelligent level’ of automatic control.
