Applying maximizing set and minimizing set to solving a trade-off based fuzzy multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) model

This paper suggests a trade off based fuzzy multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) model, where criteria are categorized to benefit qualitative, benefit quantitative and cost quantitative ones. The membership function of the final fuzzy evaluation value of each alternative can be developed. All the final fuzzy evaluations are defuzzified via the ranking approach of maximizing set and minimizing set. Ranking procedure can be clearly formulated, making the decision making execution more efficient.
